http://nightmareofbattle.wordpress.com/2008/12/22/kinniku-mantaro-joins-the-war/ <-- pics here

Kinniku Mantaro is the 59th prince of Planet Muscle (Planet Kinniku) and son of the first Kinnikuman, Suguru Muscle and Belinda Bibinba. Raised during times of peace, he is a spoiled, cowardly, lazy teenager, much like his father was except with more emphasis on cowardice and less on clumsiness. He usually start matches off in a cowardly state, only managing to get a few good moves in due to luck. However, when his friends are in trouble or his opponent is being dishonorable, he manages to reach the state of Kajiba no Kuso Djikara (Burning Inner Strength). When this happens, the Niku-Mark appears on his forehead and his strength, stamina, and technique increase many fold.

This will be interesting....

Terrorists take over city of 19 million

In the most well organized terror attack in years, the Indian city of Mumbai (formerly Bombay) burns tonight. Bombings occurred in 10 different areas, and two 5 star hotels were raided by terrorists looking for American and British nationals, presumably to kill them. Terrorists have, for at least 8 hours, taken the city over. This is India's 9/11. The future geo-political implications are staggering. India is entering the same arena as Pakistan and Afghanistan. I cannot speak enough to the importance of this event in the global war on terror.

GOP? Yea you know me.

David Brooks fully supported the Bush administrations invasion of Iraq. Yet, as the war dragged on he tempered his views. He was against the Assault Weapons Ban, which was the bane of all gun lovers in America. He is not a social conservative, he supports same-sex marriage for example. Is this what the future of the GOP might look like? A more moderate form of conservatism? In this discussion on Minnesota Public Radio David Brooks talks about the future of America (and the GOP) in the world and the historic election of Obama. I think this is brilliant analysis of the future of American politics.

Will World of Warcraft's new expansion pack bring social disorder?

Its clear the web is rife with stories of 'online world' love but now seems a better time then any to highlight. an estimated 5 million people in America will buy this game by the end of the month.

Love, fate.

Last line is the best part.

In election America says yes weed and no gay's

In the recent election Americans voted on many different issues. A fair amount of pot laws came to ballot, 9 out of 10 were passed. Weed was decriminalized across the country. At the same time, most notably in California, the rights of homosexual's were curtailed. What does that say about tolerance in this country? Does this somehow damn Judd Apatow?

Minnesota is very heavy, imagine the sheer weight of it.

My predictions: Obama landslide.

I have been following the presidential campaign closely for the last 21 months. It’s been crazy, and I am almost sad to have it end tomorrow, almost. From what I have seen and observed, I’m going to go out on a limb and lay my predictions down for the election. I do not think that Democrats will not get the 60 filibuster-proof majority many say they will get in the Senate. They do have the best chance of any party since FDR though, no small thing. I think the House Democrats will enlarge their majority, possibly even to 260. That would be a huge number, and historic, but not a lot would change on capital hill. As for the 800 pound gorilla, I think that Obama will sweep with around 300 electoral votes. That’s right, for the first time in 8 years it won’t be a razor-thin victory, it will be a blow out. Let’s see what happens, on election night keep a close eye on Indiana, Virginia, and Florida. I do say these predictions with trepidation though, nither side has this thing in the bag. Mcain could still win this; I just find it unlikely.

Here are some great resources to look at. Get informed! VOTE!

Vote stealing fears

Record breaking early voting. 1/3 of the electorate has already voted! Favoring Democrats.

Update: "Bear Resurgent"

In this post I wanted to do a follow up so as to show some of the aftermath that has followed the Russian invasion of Georgia. As a side note I would like to commend the BBC's coverage of these issues. I suppose Britain cares a lot more about Russia then we do. Great work!

-Russian president Medvedev has unveiled 5 new main principals that will guide Russian foreign policy from now on. I would like to point out #'s 4 and 5, which addresses points I attempted to make in the last post.
BBC

-The BBC conducted an investigation into claims of war crimes committed by both sides. Based on their conclusions they suspect the Georgian army did in fact attack civilians in the South Ossetia.
BBC

-Russian troops have now left their "buffer positions" inside Georgia. There are now no Russian troops in Georgia, but over 7000 troops will stay in the two separatist’s areas.
BBC

-During the conflict the Russian Black Fleet, based in the Ukraine, was used in the fighting. The president of the Ukraine tried to limit the movements of the fleet and then called for the Ukraine to kick the Russian navy out. This is strikingly similar to the Georgian conflict.
